Basically, it's the Christmas sale and I'm panicking! Both are roughly the same price - about $340usd. It will be my first electric guitar. If you want something cheap to play around with just get a squire, if you want something a bit more serious try something in the $150-$300 range like an epiphone or knock-off brand like that. Depends on your goal, straddle acoustic and electric, or jump ship to electric, remember no shame in getting a second guitar later down the road. ; )
