I want to start taking piano lessons, so I decided to do a little research. If you know any good piano teachers please let me know. Please and thank you.
I have played piano for nearly 10 years now, and have had 3 separate teachers. The first one was a professor of music at a local school and charged about 60 dollars an hour. A couple years later, I switched to a former graduate from Julliards School of Music, and he charged about 70-75 dollars per hour. My most recent mentor is an old asian lady who teaches more for the fun than the money, and I believe she only charged 40 dollars an hour. Honestly, I think she was the best out of the 3.If you are just starting to play piano, I would not suggest anything more than 40 dollars an hour. You don't need a really professional teacher to teach you the basic/intermediate stuff.
I do piano and for me its about 135$ - 200$ it depends how long the lesson is. i hope this helps! :)
Having a pricate teacher can be a bit expensive, I know trust me I've been there. But I decided to try this new system called Rocket Piano.. I've been hearing so much about and I got it after my friend told me thats how he learn to play, and he can really play.
Well for under $40 bucks you can't go wrong, it comes with a years worth of lessons and it also comes with video and audio instructions. You should check it out.
