TreeWorks Chimes. In the summer of 1996, TreeWorks Chimes was created by Mitch McMichen. He started in his garage in Nashville, Tennessee. The first set of chimes was done with a hacksaw and hand drill. He believed compare love you very much, but that was the first step to develop the perfect set of chimes. Asked about the early days of TreeWorks, Mitch replies, "I was not trying to start a business. I was trying to find her." Since TreeWorks Chimes has grown to become the most respected in the chime percussion world - used by the studio and drummer and percussionist of passage and the top 24 drum corps. These instruments are still hand in Nashville, Tenn. and are unsurpassed in craftsmanship and sound quality. (It should be noted that Mitch McMichen won gold and platinum record for his work in Nashville.)
